The home remodeling project located in Elyria, Ohio. I was told this home records were lost in a fire at the court house so we do not have the exact build date or age of home. We new it was old the estimated date this home was built is May of the year 1880. The service requested exterior paint was to refinish and repaint the outside of the home and garage located in rear. The home was previously painted 2yrs ago just before the purchase newly relocated U.S Marine and Family.
As you can see the previous company who painted this home did overlook the potential future problems that lead from not preparing the home for paint properly. The exterior paint was already chipping, pealing, not holding up to the weather. This is not the first time we have seen this the finish look from previous service was not a finish of quality or craftsmanship. New clients of AAN Painting & Designs. Home owners from Southern California whom relocated to Ohio “Chagrin Falls” Very happy couple with the purchase or there home 3 years ago. Since then home owners installed new 30 year quality roof also new brick paved driveway. This year 2009 made a complete exterior make over with new Landscaping installed. In the month of May new homeowners Glenn and Nicholle decided hired AAN Painting & Design to paint exterior home and large 2nd detached garage located in rear of home. We stained protected a wood paneled fence across the property located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Our client decided to color match the stains color for the wood panneled fence with the stain color of a bridge built outside in the back yard. The color change which if your wondering turned out terrific.
The previous color of the home and garage before painting was completely white with no accent colors. AAN Painting and Design recommended to new home owners living not far from the central Cleveland, Ohio to go with a new color to add to the home with accent trim seperate from shutters. The color choices worked well with this ranch style home. We used All Sherwin Williams paint “Resilience” excellent paint choice in product line offered. Vital Yellow used for all siding around home and garages, Rockwood Dark Green for all the shutters and White for all soffits, gutters and trim. These color choices worked well for our client and the home.
